God’s Early Ministers in Service
God’s Early Ministers in Service is our Children’s Ministry which is held every Sunday at our Main Worship Service, at 11:30 AM. As the name speaks for itself, this ministry will emphasise on the tutelage of our babes and young children. This is to make sure that they are not barren or unfruitful in the things of God. Also that a generation is raised up for the Lord.
He took a little child and had him stand among them. Taking him in his arms, he said to them, “Whoever welcomes one of these little children in my name welcomes me; and whoever welcomes me does not welcome me but the one who sent me.”
A Ministry for children 3 – 11 years
“Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it.” (NKJV) Proverbs 22:6
“Remember now your Creator in the days of your youth,” (NKJV) Ecclesiastes 12:1
These scriptures will be fulfilled through the following:
By teaching the WORD not as stories but as communication from God by the Holy Spirit.
“For it would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than having known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered to them.” (NKJV) 2 Peter 2:21
By using life situations relevant to the children to make the Word practical. Children are activated in sharing their own testimonies.
“But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.” (NKJV) James 1:22
By praise and worship activation. Choruses are explained so that the children can then sing, dance and clap with the Spirit as well as with the understanding
“What is the conclusion then? I will pray with the spirit, and I will also pray with the understanding. I will sing with the spirit, and I will also sing with the understanding.” (NKJV) 1 Corinthians 14:15
By activating prayer as a means of sharing their deepest thoughts and feelings with the Lord, and then waiting to hear from Jesus as He ministers peace, encouragement or gives direction.
“Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.” (NKJV) Proverbs 3:5- 6
Spiritual gifts activation including the baptism of the Holy Spirit, ministering salvation, healing and the word of the Lord.
“As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.” (NKJV) 1 Peter 4:10
